My primary clinical research interest is in emergency evaluation and treatment of stroke focusing on the prehospital arena.

Other research interests include imaging of stroke and transient ischemic attack as well as stroke prevention in the underserved. Administratively I serve as medical director of Stroke Centers at LAC+USC Medical Center and USC Verdugo Hills Hospital and the Roxana Todd Hodges (RTH) Comprehensive Stroke Clinic.
